Just bought one of these and to be honest wasn't initially overwhelmed with it. Stereo is awful(seriously if you're buying a MINI get the Harmon Kardon upgrade) and the interior is nice but hardly earth-shatteringly awesome! There's a bit of torque steer even on short bursts from the traffic lights in the city and it has the girl's car reputation, (which was evident when I picked it up as some girls outside were openly staring at it!)

Got it near home however and my god what a little pocket rocket. It's almost unbelievably quick! Great handling, nice feedback from the steering, sounds great (pops on the overrun). Just a fun car to punt around in. I've had an E92 M3 for just over a year now,so this is high praise indeed!

Can't wait to get it on a race track!

I bought my partner a brand new jcw convertible 6 months ago.I picked every option it's possible to put on and overall I think it's a good car,if a little expensive at just over £30k.It's a bit raw and raucous but it's really good fun to drive.I had a new m3 too and my missus prefers the JCW to drive!

My Mrs prefers the JCW to drive too! I'm going to have a few upgrades done to it. Viper stripes, body colour wheel arches, improved speakers and I'll hardwire our portable sat nav, so it doesn't have wires all over the place.

It really is a little go kart though! It's a huge amount of fun. Just thinking about whether I should get an LSD for it and then I think it'll be as good as it can be.

Totally agree about the price though - Mine was £27k after options!!! Expensive but still worth it though!
