No, I don't think so. Existing stocks were low when I bought mine in October last year.

check blowers website, they may have a new one, if not ask them to keep an eye open for one for you.

There was two at Brent Cross Shopping Centre about 4 weeks ago, one in each of the two AD's and Berry's in Windsor had one in stock 2 months ago.

Many thanks - looks like I might have to get the standard Sub Mariner (I'll call around these places first).

Does anyone know the rrp on a standard Sub Mariner?

The next generation one (and even more expensive) will be in the dealers in the autumn, and I'm lead to believe that production of the existing 16610 has already ended which is why they are getting thin on the ground as the existing AD stock dwindles.

The new 116610LN model has the chunkier, wideshoulder 'supercase', ceramic bezel, maxi dial and new glidelock clasp.

This is the new one....

For comparison, this is the outgoing 16610...

Very likely.

The 16610 was introduced in 1989, and replaced the 16800 version which had been around since about 1977-78 ish.

I guess i got it in around 1987-88 and i have had great service from her , i can see from the pics you posted a slight difference at the top - bottom where the bracelet joins to the body , she cost me 1250 which was a fortune for me back then

They are great watches smile

I got my Sub Mariner in 2008, and ordered one with the date I am not a fan of the date bubble. I think it was around 2.8k back then.

Still love wearing it, although I don't where it enough! My Citizen Eco-drive gets more use frown
