I wanna book up the hotel for TOTB but all of the ones in York including The Gateway where we stayed last year are insisting on 2 nights only.

However this hotel in Harrogate which is about 20 miles from York does 1 night stays and looks nice.

Private parking is available free of charge with space for up to 250 cars. Conference rooms can accommodate up to 350 people.

The following room types are available from Saturday 31 of July 2004 for 1 night.
Prices displayed are per room per night.

Chris is allowing Saturday night on site parking within Elvington airfield this year, it would be a lot safer to leave your cars there as some of the marshalls are camping, and they will be locking the main gates

You are absolutely right on the money Cliff.
He gets very, very rat @rsed and then doesn't know which tent is his!

He didn't have a yellow one then so one can assume this condition has only worsened!

Nige,

Could you put me down for a double room please, I'd prefer to travel up the day before, plus we can have a 'Team Meeting' in the evening to discuss tactics.

Thanks for sorting out the hotel. Top man that.

Great stuff, thanks for organising the hotel. Should be a great weekend.

Do you think we should have a team name and maybe get some vinyl graphics made up?

I did think about a team name.

Trouble is if I throw it open to you lot it is bound to degenerate into a whole load of "nob" or "nob sucking" jokes!

So to get the ball rolling.....

The Flying Vettes?

Elvington IS an airfield and we will be on the runway and it IS like "Flying Doctors" only "Vets"...

or we could go with....

Throbbing Muscle?

Okay I await the deluge......(bet those Viper owners start sending rude ones....)

if you insist, if we put our collective minds together

TeamZracing or TeamZvettes

The 'Z' could be a red slash as in 'Zorro'

Time to get busy with Photoshop.

The Flying Vettes reminds me of The Flying Pickets who were all pass their sell by date.
You need to get with the times

Ive done some drawings on this a while back and extended the top&bottom of the Z above and below the other words ,in red of course.

Look at the way Nissan do the R in GTR and and use the same type in the Z,Just some ideas.

Hi Cliffy,

I tried sending my "slant" on your logo to you this morning but the email bounced 'cos your mailbox is full.

Try clearing your deleted folder in Outlook.
