Attaching additional cable to Sky Dish

Thinking of putting an additional cable into my Sky dish so I can receive Freesat. When I looked briefly at the 2 unused connections on the dish they seemed to be covered in plastic. Will I need to take it apart to attach a new cable or remove something? Assume it must be to keep the damp out.

They'll usually just be bungs covering the coax connectors. Easy to remove them.
