Daughter off to Russia....help!
Discussion
Mods...Couldn't leave this in situ for a couple of days could you? Defintitely not a holiday but I suppose could be a bit of travel involved!
Middle daughter is studying Russian at Sheffield Uni, and as part of the course she's off to Russia in September for 12 months. Have read all of the uni bumpf and they seem to err very much on the side of caution, I suppose to protect themselves for all eventualities.
She's in St Petersburg for the first term then off to some place called Yaroslavl for the remainder.
Just wondered if anyone had any handy hints / tips to try and overcome the worry that SWMBO is currently experiencing?
Appreciate any advice!

Hi
I've worked in Russia on and off for about 4 years now & lived there for about 15 months. Feel free to PM me but, headline for your wife; dont believe even 1% of the negativity you hear about Russia.
It's 100% positive?? Like some kind of social utopia? Are you a polit-bureau press officer from 1932???I've worked in Russia on and off for about 4 years now & lived there for about 15 months.
