Sorry - don't know the car but just had to comment on that HUGE air filter under the bonnet...

...that will sap power as all the air will be very hot and engines like cold air for maximum power...

If I were you I would get some pics of the chassis before bidding. Tatty interior means it hasn't been taken care of and IMO that may extend underneath.

Looking at the engine bay I'd say a chassis refurb is almost a cert.

I personaly don't think chassis are as big an issue as they were a few years ago, as cost effective methods of replacing out riggers have been developed. So long as it is is factored into a purchase not an issue.

This comes from someone just quoted £7.5k for an engine rebuild....... take your pic £1.5k outriggers replaced or engine rebuild........ to many scare mongers... just be mindfull of what costs what to repair

Nope ... that was London prices for rebuild......needless to say it went to the Midlands for sensible prices, but there are others out there paying silly money for what essentially is a basic rebuild.
