It is highly unlikely its possible to talk me out of it as we were smiling like idiots chucking it round corners.

Just one of my posts from another thread... More fitting in here I thought!
I'm 6 foot 2 and have quite long legs. I've been told it would be a it cramped in there. I'm not a massive guy but I obviously don't want my knees up in my chest. Any other people of the same height/taller own or driven a mk1 MX5/Eunos and can offer any advice?

Well im well built and 6'5 and I cope just. Having driven for 2 hours in one + 6 hours as a passenger.I'm 6 foot 2 and have quite long legs. I've been told it would be a it cramped in there. i spent £2k on an import one last year. used only for thrashing round the track all day long before i bought it. has needed absolutely nothing as a DD, and not at all felt like a worn, tired car. free reving 1600 pulls cleanly, drives straight and not a single, tiny patch of rust anywhere
buy it for the shell, everything else is out in abundance
EFA: though it hasn't needed a penny spending on it, i've probably spent it's value upgrading and changing bits, but then i have a problem leaving cars alone

How important is the mid thirties+ MPG? You will be lucky to get that as you have to thrash them a bit to make progress. They are great cars.I have 2500 to 3500 to spend.

So it will be fine. As it will be a daily if a month is a bit tight or whatever can drive like a nun to save a few pennies.
