I have recently added a crotch strap (5th and 6th points) to my (previously 4pt) Luke harnesses.

Does anyone know how to change the "captive" strap which retains the buckle (and never releases) to the crotch strap? The buckle is currently retained by one of the lap straps.

Looking at the buckle there are is a tiny hole in the back plate by each buckle "point" and the one which currently retains the strap has a small pin in it. I'm guessing I need to move the pin to the crotch strap position somehow, but can I move it, or do I need a new pin, or ... ?

I'm hesitant to start dismantling the buckle without knowing what I'm doing.

TIA

The crotch straps come up through the loops on the lap straps and then attached to the buckle by the shoulder straps. Make sense? Difficult to explain in only a few words.

I think you are referring to a different arrangement. Each of my harness belts attaches directly and independently to the rotary buckle.

The rotary buckle itself is 'fixed' to one of the lap straps. I want to change this 'fixing' to the newly fitted crotch strap(s).

Hi

If you push a small allen key in the hole and pull the strap it will come out, reverse to refit.

Hope this helps
