OK I beat this has been asked 100 times before. I know there are loads on the market for reasonable prices but I've only done one track day so far and with my second coming up I wondered if an openface helmet is ok for track use?

My car is a standard road set up and no intention of stripping it out for the two or three track days I plan to take it on a year!

The regs say that you are fine to use open face in any car with a roof, if you are likely to blag any rides in anything open top it might be worth getting full face though...........

I prefer open face. Cooler in the summer and much easier to speak / hear when talking to passengers / instructors.

Just get one thats comfortable. I went to a shop and tried loads, from the really expensive ones down and the confiest (for me) was a cheap VCan!

Cheers for the replies, one of my mates has a bike and he said the most important thing is one that fits properly. Will go to a shop to get fitted and see what they have to offer - then hit the net for a deal!!!
