I've parked at the O2 once for a gig and I seem to remember that it was about £25, I also seem to remember upon leaving that we came to the conclusion that there was absolutely no need to pay for a ticket whatsoever. I think that they just opened all the barriers when we left so there was no need to stick your ticket in.

Safe parking.
Walking distance to venue.
Saving on the train/tube/taxi fares.

So what's wrong with paying £25 for 6 hours parking in London?!

worth checking that you won't be passing through the congestion charge to get there too...

There are 2 shopping estates very nearby

One is on the greenwich peninsula the other is heading towards Charlton

If you parked in the Sainsburys on the peninsula you could get a bus to North Greenwich (aka the 02) in about 3 minutes, the Sainsburys is 24 Hours so the car park shouldn't be too deserted at any one time

Use the North Greenwich tube station car park. It's directly outside the venue and was £6 all day last time I used it.

Tube where? Park car, walk to venue (less than 2 mins).

Parked in South Quays shopping centre in the end. On the tube from Canada Wharf and to North Greenwich. Cost £5.10 return and meant no queueing to get out of the carpark. Took probably 15 mins from leaving the O2 to getting to the car, even with the massive queues for the tube. Result. Now to wait for the PCN for being there for 6hrs in the 4hr carpark!

It is, but when there is an event on of a nightime it gets a little more expensive....£25 for the night. Make sure you park next to the exit to get out easily, it's 2 mins walk max to the venue...

Not cheap, but it is the world's most visited venue....
