Assuming you have another car, then go to ADMIRAL mutli-car policy. I was insuring a BMW 330D + wife's car seperately costing £380 + £220 = £600 ...... bought a Noble & current insurer wouldn't touch it for less than £2000; went to ADMIRAL & insured all 3 cars for £687, so the Noble GTO-3R cost me £83 ........ FANTASTIC - CAN ANY-ONE BEAT THAT????
I took out an admiral multi car specifically for the noble and checked mods were ok... initially insured the other cars and when the noble comes up a month later i give them specifics for the mods and apparently they don't cover re-mapping. quite a fundamental seeing as an exhaust requires a tweek re-map and i am doing other mods.
so basically admiral are fantastic as long as the car is std... to be fair they looked after me very well and still it was worth having the other cars covered by them.
I have had a good quote from MSN with all my mods covered but I am going also going to see if Comp cars can do me a good deal as some element of track cover really appeals

I have found in the past that whilst the "normal2 insurance companies are fine with specialist cars, as soon as you mention "modifications" they whack the price right up. For example, several years ago I had my Esprit GT3 insured with Privilege for around £550 as I recall. I wanted to fit a wing (which was a factory supplied option ) - they wanted about £180 ! I also had an exhaust made, not for power, just for better quality and price compared to the OEM one, again, they wanted around £180. Basically, anything other than standard and they wanted the best part of £200 for each change.
So I changed to Classic Line, they were not bothered about any changes. Then I bought an Esprit Sport 350, changed the exhaust, fitted dump valves etc; again, that was fine. And they are the same with the Nob, every change is fine, no extra to pay.

Out of interest I just tried ' Confused.com'.
Admiral £259
Elephant £261 - both with £350 excess.
Only goes up to £419 when adding my 26 year old son! I only added him for a laugh though, just to check prices. He won't be driving the Nob as he doesn't have the best driving record ( all declared) and he wrote off my Mitsubishi GTO when I lent that to him!
Quite surprising as I'm paying £500 with Hagerty this year.
