I remember a thread a while ago (actually a long time ago)
that someone had some lovely watch boxes.
However despite my best efforts with the search function I havent found it...
So I am asking for help to find a 6 watch box, preferable in walnut...
I remember seeing one in a carbon fibre which was claimed to be someone on pistonheads, but the pic was the same as an ebay sale pic if that jogs anyones memory.
All help appreciated!!

Thanks
Dom

Close, but not quite, it was six watches in one row, it had a solid wood top and came in lots of different woods or carbon....
I remember that they used to come up on ebay quite often but now I cant find them anywhere...

I think you might mean www.aandtcrafts.co.uk they do a large range in various woods and have been mentioned on a thread before.

Look on ebay for, or try googling, Buben & Zorweg. They make the very best boxes and winders, some in carbon fibre, some in unusual woods like macassar. They are very expensive, but beautiful.

Thats for the suggestions. I think I have found what I thought I saw on here. Ferocase
Does anyone know if they are still in operation. Their ebay account hasnt been used for a while, and their website seems to be half down.

I have tried e-mailing to no avail.

Although the Zorweg boxes look very very nice... although possible out of my league..

Thanks

I think we'll love our aandt watchbox . . . when it turns up frown

Bought a 12 like yours Andy for the watches we both have and can't wait for it to arrive as watches just lying around on the bedside table etc is not my idea of suitable storage and it's getting more crowded hehe

On my list of things to make this year is a box or two for my watches, have some nice american cherry and English walnut that would both make good boxes - or possibly some american black walnut, forgot I had some figured pieces set aside

Was that really £70?

There are a few comments on thewatchforum thread saying it was £70?

That seems really quite cheap compared to others that have been suggested!

£70 yes

Ours arrived a couple of weeks ago and it's a beast of a watch box, but is very well made and worth every penny . .

Nice box, 70 quid seems about right. I would be inclined to have glass in the top though so you can see your watches

I've got a box by AandT, the finish really is as good as it looks, mine holds 16 and is on two layers. It took a while to be made but it's definitely worth the wait.

Looks really good for the money!

The thing is, my collection is made up mostly of G-Shocks, so I don't really need an expensive box to keep them in, but something like that is perfect. Will hold them all, and won't look out of place as I gradually fill it with nicer watches.
