Nice to see friendly Tiv drivers!
Discussion
Over the last two weeks I've seen more Tivs on the roads in London than I have done in the last year. Must be the nice weather (while it lasted)!
I'd just like to share the fact that so far, every one of them has either given a wave, flash or hoot when we've crossed paths - all types of Tivs and not only Chimaeras. It makes being part of the marque so much better! Gives a real sense of community!
If any of you post on this board, I hope to see ya'll again out and about soon! You might recognise me (when the roof is down) wearing my trademark black hat!

Absolutely - in general I think TVR drivers are a friendly bunch!
Can't wait 'til June and the blast down to Le Mans - I'm sure that half of the TVR population of the UK will be taking to the road / ferry / channel tunnel train for the pilgrimage to that automotive nirvana! [ooh shades of as seventies song, me thinks – are we going to get ourselves a ‘Convoy’ ?

....or your out and about and another TVR flashes by from behind oncoming traffic and waves/flashes - by the time you realise it's a fellow Tiver you've missed the opportunity to wave/flash back! Sorry if I've ever done that to you. I'm an ardent flasher (ooeer) but it's funny the difference it makes what car you're in. When I had my "S" I would wave at all TVR drivers (still do) but very few of the Chim/Cerbie set waved back - I assumed they didn't know what an "S" was (didn't apply to the Griff boys though who must have been fellow enthusiasts and knew a TVR when they saw one, rather than just lucky rich gits with flash cars). Now I've got a Chim the response seems better.....
The problem I have is that I see most TVR's when walking through London. Apart from the obvious grin that emerges, I try and avoid the tempation to wave and end up looking like a complete prick.
So, I you drive a black Tuscan regually across Waterloo bridge or drive a silver Chim down Gower Street and some sad knob waves at you, please humour me!!

....having posted the note about Griff drivers always waving back guess what happenned on the way home from work that very day? I was coming down the big hill at Amersham towards Tesco's and see a black Griff coming up the hill, feeling content in my heart that TVR drivers are a friendly bunch, I merrily flash and wave at my fellow friendly enthusiast.
Absolutely no response from said Griff driver and I felt like aforementioned nob-end.
