Vag experts - cruise control.

Hi all, I want to get cruise control installed on my mk1 Octavia vRS. I have already found the kit and looked into doing it myself. Looks like a slight pain in the arse. So can anyone fit it on here or know of anyone who is cheap that can offer the service in the south?

If you can stretch to a garage try JKM in Portsmouth

If you want to go DIY go onto http://briskoda.net/ & do a search, I think a few people on there have done it themselves

+1 for JKM very good guys and most helpful. Give Jim or Kate a call and they will be more than happy to help.

Otherwise look for someone on the VAG forums with VAGCOM and they should be able to code it for you.

JKM are good, but expensive. On the Briskoda forum there is a guy called vrsStu (or something like that) who'll do it for you for a lot cheaper than JKM.

Hi all, thanks for the advice. I am already on Briskoda and they have recommend a few ways todo it, but I thought if anyone knows of a garage in Dorset can do it on the cheap then I would rather pay someone todo it.
