Stone chip respray

I'm going to drive round the local bodyshops this week.
Any one had it done recently. I'd like to have a rough idea of the cost so I can rule out the overpriced & the cowboys

Tvrbodyshop have prices online, I think Ewelme Coachworks do too.

Had mine done. Cost was approx £400.00 though the garage paid for it as part of the purchase deal. Mine's blue/green pearlescent and paintshop advised price per litre £200.00 and used 1 litre.

Steve, mine was done at Alan Maskell in Dunfermline (Halbeath). Done a great job. Apparently 1l of paint covered the bonnet and front halves of wings.

Spoketothe guy. He didn't recommend doing the complete wings due to possible mismatch with the doors.

As I said, I didn;t pay for it but would have as it has made all the difference.

Got mine done via Fernies - 700.00 for mirrors, wings, bonnet and scuttle. Perfect match too

thats bizzare, i was told that 1 litre was enough for a full respray. the actual paint layer is quite thin and its the lacker that has several layers. then again what do i know.

I was quoted £550 by peninsula, not inc. wing mirrors though. I believe they farm it out anyway.
