Was looking at an old EVO mag recently and stumbled on an article about this car. Had dual 1.9 litre engines and some impressive figures to match. Was supposed to have been the company hack of the McLaren drivers at the time with 25 being produced.

Anyone know of any around now or even for sale?

Maclaren make baby buggies.

McLaren - totally different company - make cars. Some of which go rather fast.

they had 2 x 125bhp lumps, one mounted in the front the other sited below the luggage compartment at the rear, initially only 4 were made, one was given to david coulthard and mikka hakkinen and the other 2 went to the mercedes r and d dept, they didnt make production as they were made in such small numbers they would have come in at 60k (in 1999!) even if they made a couple of hundred the price was still estimated at 35k, they were considering taking it to pikes peak if it made small numbers production but i dont think it ever happened.

I wonder if Coulthard and Hakkinen still have theirs.
