Trying to upgrade with SqueezeCenter Server software using RDP from my client PC. Get onto the web page to download the upgrade, but the 'download' button is invisible. I can only imagine that it's a security issue with Windows Server, but can't work out how to resolve it.

Any ideas?

Tried that, the site won't let you download the .exe. You can only execute it from it's location. Pain in the ass.

:cough: business slow, but I'll get there :cough:

If you're on the previous latest version, the fat client, rather than the web client has an update facility within it, as I remember.

I've only got the one before.

Hang on, I'll test it.

More info :

This is the page :

http://www.mysqueezebox.com/download

Button half way down the page is "Download Squeezebox Server", which is invisible through RDP-->Server-->Browser(IE)

Thanks for your help Matt.

Success, by complete fluke.

Tried the process at work, which my browser halted, however gave the option to run/save the file.

Saving to my dropbox now, should get it updated this evening.

Thanks again Matt.

Cool.

Could have dropped the msi somewhere you could access it if you were stuck.

Now get the error(logged on to my server as Administrator) :

SqueezeboxServer-7.5.0-whs.msi

Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item.

I can run other .msi files from the same location.

Must've been a corrupt file, downloaded again and executed it successfully.

Upgraded smile

Thanks.
