Well guys, here are three Porsche guys, by the names of Smithyman, Schoner, and Sauerwein, all running the same course in the rain. Yeah I know, the latter two sound like the Porsche factory team, ha ha. Guess what car spins out? Could it be the one with the 60% rear weight bias??? PS: Don't try this on the street, there could be a fence row!

A warning to you guys with dialup, this may not be dialup friendly, as these are
7.4, 10, and 7.8 MB, in order to which they are listed.

Enjoy,

ha ha, I think that last guy developed some new way to fish for trout, just chase em down in a 944 fitted with "trout tires".

I'm sure tires had a lot to do with it, but you can see, by looking at these videos, the way the 911 tosses the weight around in the rear, when the 944 appears to have no weight fore or aft, just balance.

As we all know, a 911 in experienced hands can exploit that rear weight bias, but in the wet it simply must be a huge liability.

Those vids are quite amusing to watch. In defence of the 911 driver you have to wonder how much time was spent on set up of the suspension etc by the other competitors compared to his bog standard looking Targa.

But have to agree you can almost see the weight moving against the car.
