Just about to do our works dream team auction for the world cup, and I know nothing about international footballers.
I want some tips for players who might be suprise successes at the world cup.
I don't need you to mention ones like Messi, Ronaldo etc etc but other coutries versions of Ledley King or Aaron Lennon (just two examples who spring to mind).
If you could also say why you think they might be good, I'd like that too.

Cheers all.

Not really, to be honest.
I was hoping more for the stuff I asked for in my OP.

Is that actually an advert?
If not, it should be- along with a boy in st clothes kicking a stone around a cobbled street with a mine in the background. Or something.

South Africa aren't expected to go far but as the host nation I think they will do. If they have a decent World Cup Steven Pienaar will have a great 1. As a fan of the club he (currently) plays for so I know all about him but despite recent comments from top class manager I don't think the world knows how good he is yet. If you can get him for a half decent fee do so
