Really like the look of this, an old boss of mine had one many moons ago and i fell in love with it. Having seen the prices now im back in love biggrin

What do we think (or know?) avoid at all costs or are there some good ones still around?

I mean come on, its a V12

Always loved these, I think they have aged well and still look fresh. Howw much does he want for it? Also some of his spelling is a bit st.

Well..its a CSi which was the most powerful of them, (372BHP maybe?)....parts are not cheap for the car, and its a complex engine. This was the best 850 made, for what its worth...lovely motor.

No price, no spelling, bound to be a bargain of the first magnitude.

A V12 is only 3 old Ford Corsair engines, after all.

Buy it they look fantastic imo. Saw an 840 ci going up Whiteladies in Bristol yesterday afternoon and genuinely still think they look brilliant, and sound rather nice.

Those 850 CSis can incur biblical running costs but they are stunning machines, I will own one one day though. I had an 840 for a while and it was stunning but expensive.

The popular view is that the V8 is a better proposition than the V12. Lower costs and better handling with a negligible performance sacrifice.

This particular car's advert seems to have been written by an imbecile.

This would put me off slightly.

Epic

One problem, rare and don't come up for sale often - so likely to be expensive.

He wants an even rarer car. But once he's found the Alpina version he'll sell his.

So maybe in a few years hey.
