Bit of an odd question, but are there any golfists that drive anything interesting? The golf club car park is usually full of complete bore-mobiles, probably because you can't get the clubs in anything else!

You can't have a roadster or coupe, as they typically have no boot, so unless you have a fast german saloon or a hot hatch with the seats down, what else are you left with?

(Don't be ashamed about being a golfist, I'm sure it's not as uncool as it used to be...)

I used to take my clubs in my 968CS.

One of my golfing chums puts them on the passenger seat of his MX5.

IIRC you can fit a couple of golf bags in the boot of a Chimaera.

PowaKaddy's are also for people who carry food, drinks, waterproofs, umbrellas, more than 5 golf balls, etc..

Not that I have one, I hasten to add..

The boot on a MR2 mk2 was apparently designed to take two sets of clubs, & my turbo could indeed get them in, even with a dirty great 11lb bottle of nitrous in it as well!

I can get a full set of clubs in a good size stand bag on the shelf behind the seats of the R8. Before the R8 I had a Cayman S whch easily accomodated my bag in its boot, and prior to that a 350Z which could easily accomodate 2 sets of clubs.

As you can probably gather it's a requisite of the car!

Correct biggrin

I also used to be able to get myself, 3 mates and 4 golf bags in my RB5WR. Which was every car I ever needed practicality wise.
