I'll be subject to a fine and costs.

My admittedly unkempt hedge (in an upwards fashion) in front of my tiny Victorian London terrace which I have made sure has only encroached the public highway by 10 ins (so it is in line with the neighbours) is now deemed a danger to passers by on a very wide pavement and will be subject to a fine unless cut back to my boundary within a fortnight.

OK I will cut it back to the boundary and that will kill it and then it will look 5hitty.

YOU COUNCIL FVCKS SORT OUT THE FEKIN' CRIME AND CAR VANDALISM/THEFTS AND GENERAL ANTI SOCIAL BEHAVIOR BEFORE YOU COME AFTER ME BECAUSE MY BUSH THAT HAS NOT CAUSED A PROBLEM IN 12 YEARS IS NOW CRIMINAL.

ING Y FEK FEKS COCK!!!!!!!!

It's a revenue-generating exercise. Jobsworths who know nothing about gardening or hedge-trimming.

To bat this away, you should contact the local authority listing your concerns about trimming the hedge out of season - depending on the species there are specific timeframes for this - mentioning that if they should damage your property, you'll sue.

If you don't trim it you'll need a Hedge Fund to pay the fine.
