Want to watch some exciting motorsport - best circuit?

Hello all,

it's my birthday soon and the OH is doing her usual request as to what I want. Would quite like to go and watch some motorsport ie BTCC or similar at a southern circuit.

We have ties to Devon, Norfolk and London so could combine with a trip away within a reasonable distance of any of those so most of the south is open to us.

I would like to keep it on a modest budget but don't think any of these would break the bank. I checked Snet for BTCC and entry is only £12 each. Very good value!

Are there any better circuits to watch at? Would imagine Brands to be good.

Especially if you head out to the GP circuit side, watching them fly through the forest is brill!

Rallycross at Lydden is a good day out. Great circuit that you can see the whole of (from at least two places), and....well, Rallycross is always a spectacle!

£12 is the price for Saturday which will only see Practice & Qualifying sessions for the BTCC cars. You will see some support races thought.

Main BTCC race day is Sunday, which is £29 (IIRC) and will get you all 3 BTCC races plus supports.

+1 for Brands - when the indy circuit is used you can see a very large proportion of the circuit from the stands on turn 1. Facilities are good as well.
