E46 lack of power
Discussion
Just got me a 330d auto touring and it seems to be really slow to me.
at around 60mph unless i put my foot flat to the floor, it wont pick up speed. anything over 60 seems to be a bit of a stuggle.
In manual mode, its not too bad. im thinking maybe a maf? that or i am dreading its a turbo? no smoke out the back however.
any ideas welcome. thanks

ok just to give some more info.
from stand still, the car pulls fine. however, as soon as you cruise at say 70. there is now no response in the throttle pedal.
2/3's of the throttle pedal travel makes no difference (even the mpg meter stays at 30mpg) press the pedal over the 2/3'ds and the autobox drops a gear and the car starts moving again.
going up hills and the car slows down and there is nothing you can do other then to change down a gear.
but the car pulls from stand still all the way up, no problems, meaning maf/turbo etc are not at fault?
I would like an idea what the fault maybe before i take it into a garage.
thanks
Enzo
