Right before you slate me I own this car because it suits my needs better than any other car. Ok, and now to the point. I'm going to be replacing all four tyres on my '04 Megane Scenic, but other than what it's on which are rubbish and what's on the rest of my cars I don't really know what would be the best tyres for me. The choices are Dunlop Fast Response at £71 each, Michelin Energy at £88 each, Continental Premium Contact 2 at £84 each, or Bridgestone Turanza ER300 at £76.20 each.

I've had the Continentals on a previous Scenic and was very impressed with the longevity and grip levels in all conditions. The Bridgestones are currently fitted to my MX5 and although I drive it like I stole it most places they seem to be holding up very well but maybe that's due to the lack of weight in my MX5!

So I put it to you the knowledgable people of PH to let me know of your experiences with any of the above tyres, or even to suggest any other makes.

Got the Dunlops on the MX5 and think they are fantastic. Better than the F1 GSD2s I had previously.

Ah well I'll just have to take a punt and go with either the Michelins or the Continentals.
