Electrical problem driving me mad

Hi just wondering if any one could give me some suggestions as to a problem i have on a 1996 escort si it started with a relay chattering in the main fuse causing the car to run extremly rich and eventually cutting out If i pull out the relay that chatters then another will start pull that then another starts. to date i have renewed the main fuse box , the auxilliary one by the battery , checked the relay behind the battery, checked and cleaned all earths, installed a separate earth from battery to main fuse box but problem still there Auto spark unable to locate fault due to it being intermittent Had a look on a ford site and it mentions a power control module and a CCRM does any one know were these are located because was a mention of a dry joint Thanks

Sounds like you have an exposed wire somewhere that is either earthing out or touching another wire, what was the last thing you did on the car before this problem started have you wired in a new stereo or disconnected an alarm or something like that??
