wiring 2002 rear lights into a 2000 e46

the wiring plugs are different on my 2000 e46 lights to the 2002 lights i want to put in .... has anyone changed their lights and how did you do it ? please help !!!!

I assume you're fitting rear LED light units from the facelift cars?

ETA: If its a coupe or convertible of course.

no just fitting standard 2002 lights back in that i picked up ... thought they would just bolt and plug straight in but they have a different wire plug ( 7 wires original has 6 also )
