What was the point in closing this thread http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a... ?

All the links are still there and the thread is still accessible. Surely the action – if any – to be taken is to delete the whole thread.

It's like in the old days when hung drawn and quartered highwaymen were left on a gibbet beside the road. This serves as a lesson to any people posting links about Kelly Brook.

The links that remain are deemed as JUST about acceptable, if embedded. The links that weren’t deemed acceptable were deleted. (if I missed any OTT ones please let me know)

The closure was to high light to members that this isn't the type of material that we want displayed on PH.

It manage to sneak along under the radar without being reported or spotted by the mods for longer than usual, it's as simple as that.
