of the vinyl variety - I seem to recall you're not supposed to put the hood down for a while to allow it to stretch - how long for?

Also, does it matter if it gets wet? Can I wash the car in that time?

It's ok, it is almost British Summer so you won't get much opportunity to put it down anyway biggrin

Not fitting it yourself? I am disappointed! wink

After we fitted ours we left it up for a week. However that week was pretty warm. 2 weeks is probably better if the weather is not particularly good.

Just don't have tme to do any car work at the mo - going to be difficult enough to find the time to go and collect the damn thing from the garage!
