The new Autocar has a full test of the Tamora ... which is nice. The best bit is the test of their assertion that a well driven 106GTI will be just as good as a sports car on real roads. It goes like this ...

"To say the Tamora blew the 106 away would not be entirely accurate. That is because it first dismantled the Peugeot comprehensively, then threw each piece into the gutter and stamped on it. Which is not quite what we were expecting."

Big up for the Tamora I think .... anyone want to lend me £43K?

I think there were better quotes in the review than this statement that a £40k sports car is able to out-run a £12k hatchback.

"The Best TVR yet" being the most obvious. Having only ever owned one TVR and being somewhere on the delirious side of ecstatic with it, this is a most promising sign of things (I hope) to come.

Well, it's my fourth TVR and the best yet, after Wedge, Griff and Cerb. So lets hope it lives up to what I've seen so far... time will tell.

Anyone noticed my letter which they printed (re 200mph cars?)

I've sent them another one this wek, because of the unbelievably picky nature of their comments "against" the Tamora. Weak on safety? - o.k. But price?! since when did they worry about the price of a Boxster, or Z3M? And, for the love of God, they mention economy!! Fuel economy in a £40000 sports car. For F**k's sake!! It's hardly a bloody Micra, is it?! Gaaaaah!!!!

Aaah, I feel better now....

Yeap, it goes onto to say that it is so fast that it could easily make the Cerbera and the Tuscan re-dundant (although Cerberas are just sssooo lovely)

It also says that it is the best 3rd gear performer they have ever reviewed.

I am off on the weekend to hunt for that B road that they do their testing on B4560 if I remeber correctly.

Good on you, but in my experience they don't like publishing letters from the same person two weeks on the trot.

Or maybe it was just that the second letter I wrote was shite.
