Hi

I need to take a trailer over the channel to France at the end of the month or early July. Does anyone know which travel agents or ferry operators might have deals on taking a citroen relay van with a large (5 metre) box van. Don't mind when I travel, can travel antisocial hours and need to be in France for 2 or 3 days.

Cheers

I've used these guys a few times: http://www.ferrysavers.co.uk/

I don't travel with a trailer but IIRC they have trailer / caravan options on the website.

Also look at crossing to Dunkirk rather than Calais - it was usually cheaper whenever I looked. Crossing with Norfolk line was cheaper than P&O in general.

I've found the ferry websites themselves have the best deals, especially for the middle of the night saillings.

All the agent websites (lastminute, ferrysavers etc) all seemed to bump the price up a little.

I did a lot of searching last year for this.

Most convenient for me was Portsmouth to Le-Harve (although Portsmouth - Caen isn't much different).

I was towing 8m long, 3.5m high.

Found Brittany Ferries to be the best value.
