Austec - No Reply

Who's had dealings with Austec on here? I sent them an email a couple of days ago asking for some engine tuning options and they haven't responded - am I using the correct email address: [e-mail]?

I've used them and, you are right, Mike often takes time to reply but eventually did - even by email. I'd ring him instead. If the job is done right though, it's worth a little bit of hassle. Mike, if you're reading: I'm awaiting a call back re my Griff recarpet !!!

I emailed them Monday, just had a call today - very friendly indeed - ended up being over 30 mins on the phone.

Heh heh, thanks Mike, I was just enthused about the prospect of more power for the Tiv so every time I got a new email I was hoping it was from you.

Anyway, I originally came back to this topic to post a message saying you'd got back to me with a very informative email but you beat me to it!

At least I know I did have the right email address right now.

Could be they are very busy this week, what with Mark Adams being in attendance today and tomorrow .
I see Mike has responded now though.
Best to phone first though, or via PH as they seem to have a machine with gassing stations permanently open .

LOL! I've just had another email from Mike answering the question referenced above!

Making TVRs more powerful... Sending prompt emails... Is there anything these guys can't do?! Mike, you are clearly in fact a communications guru and should be heading up strategy at British Telecom rather than tuning TVRs!

I like Austec already!

Yes, Mike mentioned that Mark had been there this week.

I personally think it's a great idea for anyone commercially involved with TVRs to keep up-to-date with PH. There are so many potential customers on here and so much marketing information to be gleaned (i.e. what services people might want) it's amazing.

For us, the customers, it's great too, because I knew before I contacted Austec that they were the kind of people I'd be happy doing business with. The same goes for Jools who has proffered advice to many people, including myself.

Keep it up lads!
