If you haven't, and yours are made of titanium, then I know I haven't!

Repost, and I still think the guy's a chump. If I was going to sell everything I own and run up a huge debt doing 90000 miles in a super car I'd do it better. His two best stories are that he got arrested and some tart mistook him for Moby. Dull.

I know people who've run their finances into the ground to go racing (like Mansell did - he sold his house, car and family silver to get into F3). That's understandable. To do the same to drive a 6 foot wide 1.5 tonne car on the public road? I can't understand that I'm afraid confused

I can understand the appeal, especially in a country as big as America, and in fundamental PH fashion, it just wouldn't be the same if he did it in an S-Class Merc, even if it did make more sense hehe

ETA I prefer my team mate's story of selling his house and buying a big motorhome with the proceeds to live in and go racing. His girlfriend left him straight away, but for a significant amount of time he was living in it while it was parked out the back of the prestige car dealership he worked in as a salesman.

He used to turn up for the pre-opening meeting in his dressing gown and slippers, clasping a mug of tea. You have to know the bloke hehe

Wouldn't do it now, but choose a slightly cheaper car, sell your house, I don't see why that sounds like a bad idea? Even with a lunched engine, I'd imagine you'd be able to sell that lambo and be able to get back on your feet again afterwards.

I've often toyed with the idea but couldn't bring myself to do it.
