Super charging a 4.5 Cerb.

How easy is it to supercharge a Cerbera 4.5? as I know that a few of you have carried out this mod.

I only know of one thats been done. It was in Holland I think. Never heard much about it so I assume it soon broke?!
There is a turbo AJP.
There is a supercharged LS engined cerb.
I cant think of any others....

I'm attemping it at present read a thread i started titled "can anyone see why this won't work" a couple of weeks ago. If you look closely at the pic's you will see the supercharger sitting just below the driver side plenum. Its got duck tape over the inlet. It been a right arse trying to get the new induction working but it is now running (without the supercharger). I want to use the car this summer so I have shelved finishing the project until the winter.

The charger fits nicely in front of the engine and all the brackets and belts have been fabricated.
All thats left to do is sort out the breather system and get the supercharger and engine mapped.

There's all different opinions on if it will work so I thought i'd just go ahead and try it. Its definatley not a cheap option to more power as I have found out. If you are looking for only modest gains upto 420bhp stick with the conventional tunning route.

I've really done it as a bit of fun but hope to get 480 to 500bhp. I'll update on this forum when their is some news.
