Spotted a car on the way home that I don't know what it is - can anyone help?

LTG 962L

Orange

Looked like a cross between an MGB, a Mk2 Prelude, and a TVR Grantura
- Front-end had MGB-like wings and headlights, but a much squarer (& bit wider) bonnet and a larger, taller grille (although it looked like the grille itself was missing).
- Fog lights were ovoid-rectangular, set into the front bumper below the chromework, and were inboard of the headlights
- Cabin was angular and looked like a shortened Ferrari 400 / Mk2 Prelude - 2-door with a sharp, angular B-pillar.
- Rear wings were very pronounced - it had broad 'shoulders' running front-to-rear, with a sharp crease-line at the top of them.
- It had small wheelarches front and rear
- Twin exhaust pipes exiting at ~1/3 chord each side
- Rear lights were small - similar to a Mk1 Escort
- Rear end was very angular, contradicting round-headlight front
- Badge was a small, green off-square rectangle with a subtle design on it. One behind front wheel, one to rhs of boot.

...was it an old TVR?!?

if its side exit pipes then maybe a bristol fighter? Spotted our local one on Sunday on the way back from our car meet. Sadly I was going the wrong way otherwise I would have grabed a shot at the lights smile
