Glovebox torches and CD-changers (E46)
Discussion
How much (if any) wiring is already in place on an E46 coupe (2004) for the CD changer in the boot and the glovebox torch?
I'm not going to spend swathes of cash at my dealer or independant on fitting them but if I could do them myself might make both additions to the car.
Any one any experience of fitting either?
As always, thanks in advance.

I agree with you Conian but I'm a sod for keeping the car fully OEM where possible - I think it's a form of OCD!
As for the torch socket, there appears to be a blank which is maybe the cover? Or a blank because it's not there - I've not pulled about at it much for fear of breaking something!

The wiring and connector should all be in the boot already for the six CD changer. They come from the factory like that. As for the torch, it should just plug into the socket in the glove box. Do you have the socket in there?
This. The wiring should be there but a DICE unit is probably a better bet.The torch assuming it's there (top right of the glovebox) is f
