Was good fun there last year, but when we went past it seemed empty - must have been at about 7pm...
That was me in an Escort Cosworth (stickered up), and my brother in a Pulsar GTI-R
Yeah think it was around 8 onwards when it was actively busy with Brits as we nipped down in our Silver XK Jaaag (bodykit). Local traffic was keeping it slow but the old man did a few laps then we dumped the car and sat in the run off area and watch it before it died down. That was me in an Escort Cosworth (stickered up), and my brother in a Pulsar GTI-R
about 6.30-7 ish i went down and there was hardly anyone around. I drove slowly expecting to see a speed trap, although i found checking out all the skid marks and barrier repairs more interesting along with the track that is so much smoother and wider than i thought it would be and also more cambered.

Did anyone else here join the gathering on the D140 last night when the Mulsanne-Arnage stretch was back open to the public?
There were a load of people there going up and down it and no rozzers at all were around

Awesome! That's me in the red RS6. In total we were 5 up. Couldn't believe that there were no speed traps or Gendermes. We'd just had some food in arnage and decided to go for a little drive. One of the many highlights of the weekend for me. A couple of the corners were lovely and we took them pretty fast (whilst worrying about oncoming traffic loosing control) We also easily blatted up to 130 5 up.
I certainly remember seeing the orange Elise, and a couple of Mercs. Not sure if the other people in my group enjoyed it quite as much as they were in a 70bhp Skoda Fabia 4 up! Apparntly there was a yellow M3 that was maybe getting a bit carried away and doing donuts everywhere and ended up in the gravel trap (didnt see it myself)
Chocolate Monk- Is there any chance I could have a copy of the origional? would be another memento of a great weekend!

No worries, email me through PH and I will email back with full res pic attached. Should be more pics to come as well from another in our group. I missed the yellow M3 as well as I was driving down towards Mulsanne at the time.I will get the other pics on here as soon as they are uploaded.
Cheers CM.
