Need to move fridge for floor fitting
Discussion
I have an american style fridge freezer and im having a vinyl floor fitted later this week i dont want to have to cut round i want them to fit the flooring under so the fridge is going to have to be moved has anybody got any good ideas for moving it anybody used any type of castors or an ingenious way of moving the lump of a thing for fitting ?
I have never had an American Fridge. Does it not have castors at the back instead of feet? I've just moved 2 fridge freezers this morning (not American fridges) and both had feet at the front and wheels at the back. The wheels do not steer however.
I have had fridges many years ago that just had feet. What I did in those days was to get a piece of hardboard or something smooth and put it under the appliance making sure that all the feet were on the wood (kind of lift a side, push the hardboard, lift the other side etc).
Then it slid pretty easy on most floors (capret tiles / wood / marley tiles) without damaging the appliance or the floor surface.
Good luck with it. I know a good chiropractor if you need the number

Try these. Can't vouch for them but they look a good idea.
