In the tunnel on the way over to Le Mans on Wednesday I bumped into an American guy who'd driven his 964 RS America over from the States - California I think - via container ship over across the Atlantic. It was quite an epic trip and I gather he was trying to locate some Porsche Club GB people en-route. He didn't know where he was going (somewhat surprisingly having navigated across most of the US!) and asked if he could tag along before we left. We drove in convoy until Rouen or so but I lost him after that, just wondered if he got there okay?

The gentleman in question did make it to the Porsche site. He was also presented with an award (travel clock) on Sunday night from PCGB

Don hails from San Diego, and is wandering around Europe, mainly France and Germany.

Lovely chap. spent a few hours chatting about cars and life in general.

heres my pic of it, two things though, its not on standard suspension (PSS 10's) or wheels, which the purists will abhore. the RS America is not an american version of our Euro RS, its not really an apples comparison.
