Which earphones for around £100?
Discussion
I'm looking to purchase some earphones for listening to my iPod at work. I'm thinking of spending about £100, though I'll happily stretch the budget a bit if there's a significant jump in sound quality a small way North of that price. The research I've conducted thus far has suggested that the Shure SE310s (which can be bought online for about £110) have far superior sound quality to competitors' products at a similar price, though reviews also say that they have a habit of failing because of a design shortcoming in the wiring. Can anyone give me any pointers as to where my cash should be going?
Another vote for Audio Technica, and the CK7's are well under £100.
Superb quality and sound but take quite a few hours to run-in!

) but still sounding so good that the idea of changing them hasn't crossed my mind.
ks on super expensive earphones for an MP3 player as the sound quaility from them doesn't warrant amazing earphones. I got some Bose in-ear headphones as a gift a few years back and they're just fine.
