Valueing a LR Series III
Discussion
I have seen a Landy I might bid for on the ebay, I am a bit clueless as to the values of these old Series III's. Can anyone who can help me pitch my bid please PM me for a wee bit of help and I will reveal the history of the car (it is know to me) and the ebay id?
Any help is very much appreciated.

If you know the Landy see if you can buy it outside of eBay.Any help is very much appreciated.
As for prices, well it depends really, there is no set price for vehicles like these, it really is down to how much anyone person is willing to pay.
I believe some of the Landy mags give very broad price guides, so it might be worth flicking through some in the news agents next time you are in one.
Also have a look at the classifieds and prices others have sold for on eBay and other places.
But it is very dependent on the vehicle, as in it's exact spec, condition, age (is it tax exempt?), what you want to do with it and how much money you have.
I'm looking into buying a series 3 at the moment, and have seen 4 over the last few weeks..i'm actually getting a bit fed up trying to find a decent one, perhaps that's because I'm not willing to spend the £5k+ some are asking.
What is amazing is how you can buy a decent, usable one for about £1200 (i.e. decent chassis, bulkhead OK, alright engine and working gearbox/4WD etc) but I've also seen pretty ropey ones that have subsequently sold for £2000+ (such is the magic of ebay).
As far as I can tell, it is not possible to buy a nice one (i.e. nice chassis/bulkhead, desirable spec and body that looks like it hasn't been washed with logs) for £2000...my search continues. There's one in the classifieds that has caught my eye, I might go see it but I expect to be disappointed.
Feel free to PM me with details if you want my (admittedly inexpert) comments...it's not that 6cylinder 110 in beige is it? That looks like a nice car...
