My 2003 4200 Spyder decided to throw a wobbler last night. Pressing the lock button on the key fob locks the car but it immediately unlocks itself. Looking through the window I can see that the drivers side internal lock button moves in response to the key fob button but the passenger one does not. If I lock the drivers side with the key, then the same thing happens and the car unlocks immediately.
If I lock the car with the key in the passenger door then the car locks OK. Both doors window drop facilities are working fine, and if I lock with the key in the passenger door and then press the fob button then the alarm comes on.
I was told its most likely one of the micro switches in the door locks having stuck / got wet following the deluge it was subjected to at Le Mans and that loads of WD40 in there will eventually sort it, but after a few hours its still the same.

Anyone got any clues or other suggestions?

Check the interior door handle is returning back properly.
If it isn't it will be unlocking the door as if you are about to open the door.
Happened to my GS, just needed some lube on the hinge.

Turned out to be the pasenger side door lock motor. New one being fitted tomorrow. Not too expensive either!
