I'm quite new here, although I've been to quite a few events with my son over the years now.

Here are a few of my cars (all photos taken by GFWilliams:

Chesil Speedster:

The car is based on a beetle with a 1800cc engine. I actually really enjoy driving it as the engine has so much torque. It is so easy to drive and is very light because of the fibreglass body.

Caterham 7:
Started out a bit like the photo below, but with prisoner wheels

This is what it looks like now:

Before anyone says that they prefer the blue, the reason we changed it to bright orange was for safety so that people are more likely to see us. It started life as a roadsport and is less 'road' and more 'track' now!
It's a 1.8 engine with upgraded cams, Emerald ECU, Straight through exhaust (no cats), 15" magnesium wheels with Avon CR500s, FIA roll bar, full harnesses (4 point), momo steering wheel and an aeroscreen. It still surprises me how quick it is and I feel that there is no need to upgrade it any further, apart from possibly an LSD to make it a bit more predictable on the limit. George drove it on track about a month ago and was amazed how raw it is and how well balanced it is, making it such an easy car to drive quickly.

Here is a little clip of George on the last trackday:

My daily driver, a Merceds C320D:

Very nice car, goes like stink and even makes an alright noise thanks to the V6!

My Son drives this Mini One:

Great little car and very easy to drive - need to make him slow down though to save the tyres hehe

We've also got Mini Cooper (for my wife) and a Toyota Rav4, which seems to just be a dump car and towing car for the Caterham.

Thinking about it, I'm surprised how few photos George has taken of the cars as he always seems to be taking them hehe

I actually like the Caterham in orange a lot more. A car like that isn't meant to be subtle so you might as well have it in a mad colour. And people would deffinately see you coming. Very good car collection.

Excellent car collection and some awesome photography.

Just out of interest, how are the shots achieved? For example the orange Caterham shot looks to be taken from on the grass verge?

I've got a special piece of equipment called a 'rig' which attaches to the car and allows me to take the photo. It's quite simple, and very effective...

Saw a bunch of Speedster replicas at Castle Combe last Saturday for the Classic and Sportscar Action Day, here are a couple on the parade lap (I was in one of the MX-5's on their right):
