Got the Chim booked in for the 22nd to repaint the internal 'recess' where the door meets the body when shut. I noticed recently, and out of the blue, that they were really, really badly chipped. Anyone elses suffering? It's loads worse that appears in the pic. So far so good, really pleased with the "it's going to take four days or so to repaint" sounds thorough. All I've heard is good news about these chaps.

They all go there sooner or later. Esp if you drive in wet/dirty weather as small bits of stone/grit get flung into the gap when the door is shut and you're driving along. Then it grinds your paint off.

If yours is bad here is it also needing a bit of work behind the wheel arches? (where mud flaps would fit a normal car).

my griffs in at ewelme at the mo.its having a minor self inflicted scuff repaired between the leading edge of the rear offside wheelarch and the door, also both mirrors are being done.i chose ewelme because ive heard nothing but good news about how thorough, accurate and proffesional john and the team are.whereas ive had the odd reason to doubt one or two others who were nearer to me and supposed to be good.im really fussy with paintwork,so ill let you know how it goes.im picking mine back up on saturday

Jumped over from the Cerbera forum.

Ewelme dropped my Cerbera back to me today and have done an excellent job.

All round, the service was excellent and I would recommend them to anyone.

Just got back from collecting the griff, and,as promised,im here to tell you how good it is.Well, its nothing short of amazing! the workmanship really is as good as you could possibly get.The finish is like glass, and the paint match is perfect.Im amazed how a localised repair can be so invisible. It was really worth the long journey and John was a true gent to deal with. Now,like so many others,i couldnt reccomend John and the team at Ewelme highly enough.dead chuffed p.s. it rounded off a perfect day, when a guy walking by the car in Bourton, stopped to take pictures to show to his son, which made me feel so proud
