Caterham's sign new deal with Rover

I see from todays FT that Caterham have signed a new deal with Rover's XPower on the supply of engines. Looking at figures quoted it works out at £5K per engine.

I know that Caterhams have small engines e.t.c - But should'nt TVR have looked at a deal like this ?

Howmany Chimaera/Griff owners would buy a Tuscan/Tamora with a Rover power plant ?
