S2 air filter

Hi guys,

Does anyone know of any on-line airfilter suppliers as I can only find a one pipercross one on Ebay and on clever trevor. I like diff choices so any suggestions would b great

I've ordered parts from http://www.tvrcarparts.com and the service has always been excellent. When I needed a filter a few weeks ago they were out of stock and although they promised to call when they came in I got a bit impatient and went elsewhere, big mistake.

I used the shower that advertise on ebay and they took nine days to deliver a filter that was advertised as 'more than 10 available' and would be dispatched within 1 day. All down to the seller rather than the courier. The day after I placed the order Neil from Tvrcarparts called to say they now had parts in!

you realise of course that they are washable so if its basically OK but just mucky then give it a clean and spray it with air filter oil.

If you buy a new filter, dont go poking a hole in it to fit a manky pipe fitting pumping oily mist into your intake ahead of your AFM's remove the pipe from the oil filler cap altogether and fit a small filter to the oil breather/filler cap instead, leaving your new and expensive new filter intact.

Gently does it if you wash it. The inner layer on mine crumbled away when I tried it. A combination of age, oily mist and over-robust washing technique the likely cause.

I've fitted a breather filter, good idea that one.

ketvrin my next question is where can i get one of those funky small filters for the oil breather/filler cap of which you speak.

Yes as Deadspider/Lou says fleabay is your friend... expect to pay a fiver or less
