Wednesday 23rd Evening Meet
Discussion
Since I didn't organise/couldn't make last night (or tonight) how does everyone feel about meeting next Wednesday night for a coffee, chat and look at the cars?
We're looking to try a different venue for this meet as we'll be midsummer so it would be good to be able to spend a bit more time outside. As nice as the Dakota is, it's a bit like being in a fancy cave. Does anyone have any suggestions? It would be good to stay at the same side of Glasgow and no further out than the Dakota. Are there any golf clubs that would be handy to get to?

Im up for next wed, cant think of any outside venues unless you fance slumming it for the night at macd's and the showcase car park (could you just imagine uncle paul struggling to control his rage as a wee buccy neds asks - is it fast mister ah want wan for me'n chantelles weddin, where does yer dug go but?)
Alternatively could you not just carry your refreshment outside whilst at the dakota

Hi Guys
Just bumping this up. Proposing another meeting at Dakota this Wednesday. Andrew will be there on time ( for the first time in his life) and I will possibly be a buit late as No.2 Daughter graduating and am not allowed to miss that to go to a car thing! Sob!
Hopefully see a lot of you there?
There is a good location around in the new, but deserted office park for a big group pic, although it may be difficult to get enough height to do a good pic of a large group of cars?
Anyone know when they shut down the site? Hve security on it all the time

Hi, I've just recently started using the site after registering a few years ago (I was looking to buy a new car at the time) and seeing as I live 2 minutes away from the Eurocentral I thought I might pop down on my way to nightshift.
What time are you guys there from? If its around 7pm-ish I could stop by for 30mins or so

I'll be there a bit before 7.30 and will stay out in the car park for a while if the weather is nice.
I've no idea who is attending as people don't seem to post on here, they just turn up. Paul, Tony, Mike and myself are signed up but i'd imagine quite a few more will show.
We had our own virtual meet last week in cyberspace I've no idea who is attending as people don't seem to post on here, they just turn up. Paul, Tony, Mike and myself are signed up but i'd imagine quite a few more will show.

I'll try and come along but I'm recovering from a chest infection and I'm due at Knockhill with Team Dreadnought for the next 4 days(have to beg nicely to Mrs T
) since The MG Trophy Series is being held during Classic Speedfair Weekend. Teehee all the southern softies can see what it's like having an 8 hour drive home the way we have to when at Silverstone and Brands.Congratulations to bambina numero 2 Paul, you must be a) very proud & b) very relieved, less subsidy required

ETA Oh bugger, forgot we need to do shopping tonight as I'm away the next few nights. Ah well, it will stop you all getting infected.

Did this happen?
I drove round the Dakota car park around 7.30pm and there was an Elise and a DC5 'Teg there but no sign of any owners....were you inside? I didn't really want to wander around the hotel asking people if they were from Pistonheads so I begrudgingly buggered off to work!
