Did anyone see the 'stealth looking' Nissan GTR on the Monday trip back to Calais?

We tried to get a picture but could not keep up when it sailed passed and pulled away at a large rate of Knots, much more than a 'two miles a minute' rate..

Amazing looking car tho!

Saw it pulled up by the Gendarmes at a service station. Not looking quite so clever or amazing then.

Stealth as in matt black/grey wrap on it? If so, I believe it was on the TL campsite (along with 5 other GTR's - common as muck! wink )

There was indeed a matt black wrap GTR on the TL campsite along with my Silver one, a grey one, 2 more black ones, 2 whites ones

Did you clock the 'powered by fairydust' stickers on the rear bumper? rofl

Flew past us on the way to Calais... 30 seconds later, Gendarme pulled out of a secret layby and flew off!

Was sat with it for a couple of hours on the drive back, mostly through the traffic in Rouen... Have a bit of video footage of it, but sadly no means of getting the footage off the ancient video cam yet!

What were Gendarme driving to catch up with a GTR going past at 1+ Leptons?

Common or not (at Le Mans), lovely cars though.

Correct. Sooo common - a far cry from two years ago on Houx, when the first one most people had ever seen was there in Drivers Republic logos. Mine was the black and carbon effect wrapped "Powered By Fairydust" GTR with Team Langoustine at the Hunaudieres / Tertre Rouge site. Thought I was going steady on the way home? We so very nearly got pulled at a silly speed on the way down, but the fall guy was a friend just in front who was awarded instant admission to the 750 (and removal of driving license) club.

If the guys who lent me their battery booster on Sunday are here I'd like to say a big thanks, and another big one to the TL organisers of the best campsite at LM thumbup

' going steady'...hmmm my passenger tried to take a pic or two but our brief '2 mile a minute leptons' wasnt enough to keep up...GTR in front vanished over the horizon !
Only had another 10 or 15mph left in the ole motor and didn't fancy a 'morgage payment fine' , so gave up!
