St Saturnin Car Show / CBW
Discussion
Rubbish! After driving all the way out there a few Km is of little significance!
I drove to St Saturnin in the morning, PH Mulsanne meet afterwards then took the car back to the campsite and tram to Le Mans centre for the drivers parade. Saw a few guys in high-spirits and kept them happy with a couple of burnouts. Didn't get any water squirted at me and had a very enjoyable day!

Went to the Classic British Welcome. It's not far from Le Mans, especially if you set the satnav to "shortest" and it was well worth it. The event is superbly organised and the selection of cars there was mind blowing. Corvettes were the themed marque this year, which despite being a little strange for a classic "British" welcome was never-the-less enthralling. Hearing the sounds coming from GT40's, classic Corvettes, TVR's, Ferrari's, Aston's etc., all in one place was worth the short hike up there. And we still got back to the campsite before too many loonies lined the streets!

Their admission policy to the display area's is very... erm... changeable it seems
Haha! Yes, I got ribbed for this too after being waved on into the car park, and then seeing 3 MX5's get waved in as I entered "a pied"I thought it was excellent though - first year we have been to it. Will post my pics up once I get round to uploading them.

And to think that was nearly a week ago already!! Uno I walked around the whole lot more than once and I still didnt get to see all the cars you photographed. Goes to show the GBW is has a constant flow of cars in/out all day long. I think thats what makes it such a good meet. That and the chilled out atmosphere
Had a great time at st saturnin, soaking up the sun and atmosphere.Had some great food and met some nice people. My gang said we'd give Mulsanne a big miss next year after rushing to get down their only to iind police everywhere.so thats it now st saturnin all day next year......its a great place to chill.!roll on 2011.
I went to Saint Saturnin on Friday morning and wish I had done so on previous years. It's marvelous the way a town in France (10km from Le Mans) throw their place open to us invaders and make it so interesting.
I sat in the cinema for a while and watched some of a film about the making of Le Mans the movie with Steve McQueen and was really pleased to chat with other petrolheads.
Here's a few of my photos of the more oddball/rare stuff I saw.
I'll definitely go back next year.
