Supercharged 840: classified ad.
I went to have a quick butchers at lunchtime and it looks pretty tidy at first glance. Before I approach them I'm hoping someone knows something or anything about the super charger? Not seen one before so a little wary as it's unusual.

That would be me then, other than the car being way overpriced it's a good un, 0-60 in 5.2 secs/ 0-100 12 secs

I'd be happy to help if you have further thoughts on it

Simpson Motorsport did the work on the engine & Brakes, as I mentioned it's a mighty fine 8, I some times regret selling but I now have a luverly 850 which keeps my wallet empty;).

The mileage hasn't changed since I sold it 2 yrs ago, but the price is wrong/wrong/wrong

Thanks for that. thumbup
I've kept an eye on it for a while and it's been there months.
Cleevewood always price 'optimistically' IMO but I know one of the owners/partners so hope to be able to discuss it. Are you aware of any issues with it?

I had the car 4 yrs & was never a problem Although if not done recently I think Rocker gaskets need doing, It's also got the E34 M5 LSd fitted which is great for blasting about but totally buggers up the refinment, the dealer I sold it to robbed the Hartge wheels & put those ridiculous Alpina Replicas on, I guess they have got go??.

Alpina B12 Suspension & G power racing Cats also on board.

That's the fella!

(there is a CSi on for similar money, I know parksie will disagree because his conversion is quicker on a straight line, but I'd go for the CSi, very rare and holding their value)

all IMHO of course

No I'm with you there, I had looked very longingly at this Csi but the timing isn't right for me, Interestingly Phillip is the Dealer who bought my car!!//??

I'm no expert but in my opinion there is CSi and the rest of the range.

CSi has M Power 5.6L V12, 6 speed manual (!) rear wheel steer, M Power brakes, different suspension, different diff, with oil cooler etc., etc.

Looks the same as an 840 sport.

I think they may be real - 20 spokes, no visible valve - but they sure are wrong. 18" or even 17" Softlines would look the business though.

Guess it has earned its stripes then. smile

Take a closer look at rear wheel, also the dish on both wheels is not right?
